What Ho me Hearties

The time is nearly upon us for the Summer Solstice Dawn Dip with a sunrise sailing session scheduled for 0500 this Sunday (22nd June).

Now don't be late and make sure you're in the picture. I promise you it's all worth the effort in the end and may become a habit.

Sunrise on our east coast beach can be a beautiful thing and the forecast is good this year, the sort of days when memories are made.

We will make sure all the club boats are rigged and ready the night before, so just turn up with your wetsuits on (sleep in them if you like) and get afloat - who will be the first?

Winds are forecast for as fabulous Force 2 SE'ly and the seas may be glassy flat.

Its fun sailing until the Full English is served up at the club around 0800 to coincide with high tide.

Then back out on full stomach and a falling tide till low water at 1435 - we could easily sail until sunset - imagine that!

Pass the word, encourage your friends, all are welcome

Are you up for it?
