Holiday Cup 2014 Katie Brook and Sam Ransom

Two races held with fresh winds touching Force 4

The Holiday Cup and Cadet Trophy were raced together on the Monday in fresher winds touching force 4.

The wind had swung more onshore during the night and a course with long reaches was set requiring the catamarans to complete 3 fast laps whilst the Cadets sailing monohulls were required to do just one lap.

James Stacey was the clear winner of the Cadet Trophy in one of the clubs Topaz Unos sailing flat and fast. Sam Ranson and Katie Brooks seem a good partnership and came in a close second. A special mention should go to Cadet William Stacey who completed the large offshore course in his Topper without ever losing his smile.
